Gouranga Mellows

Condensed Vedic knowledge projected into your mind

Untill we understand who we are, we are mad man. A madman does not know who is, so as long as we think we are thinking we are this material body we are mad.

Under a little study we can understand we are different from this body. We think this body to be ourselves. When we were 5 years old we identified ourself with that little body, and felt that we are a child. We are the same person now as we were then. We can remember that childhood time and we know it was us, but now we are in a different body, we are adult or old bodied, and we identify with this body and feel ourselves to be older. The consciousness of the person stays the same but  the body changes, so we actually have experience of reincarnation in this life.  We refer to our body as my arm, my leg, my head, as though it belongs to us. But who are we? Who is the owner of the body? It is my body, but who am I?
